Can you easily forgive?

For me, forgiveness is a very easy thing to give to other person who committed a mistake to me. I did it out of love for that person, no matter how big his/her mistake is. But if the trust is broken, it will take some time to gain it again. I may forgive a person, but my trust to him lessen and he/she have to earn it back.

I think i would be able to fogive most things that a person had said or that something they had done,but i would never be able to forget it.

I ma agree with you that it is very hard to forgive when we are offended especially they are no asking for forgiveness. And that case I feel so hurt as I always remember what they did to me. I soften heart if the offender ask for forgiveness meaning they don't really meant to hurt me. But if they ignore and it seems that they don't care it's pain inside and that is the cause of hard to forgive. The pain is sinking deeper in my heart. So every time I saw and remember the offender, feel sorry to forgive at that moment. But, time will come it heals.

For me it would depend on the sin or the thing done to offend me or to hurt me. I easily forgive those who have offended me less or if the person has said something in a joke but has already hurt me. If the person doesn't ask for forgiveness even if what he has done has really hurt me inside and out, well i guess that's another thing. But i know in the end if that person really has feelings, he will know that i was hurt by what he has done and will ask for forgiveness then, i will be forgiving him. If my God can forgive those who have sinned no matter what the sin may be, then why can't I?!:D

I think I can forgive in an instant if the person who has hurt or offended me comes to me to talk, say sorry or just explain his side. Or at least the other person tries to show that he or she would like for everything to be ok between us. Without this, however, I think I will have a hard time understanding and, thus, forgiving. I would probably forgive and forget eventually, but it would take a long time.

well sometimes i think like i am cursed with being an emotional person, sometimes i get hurt very easily and i tend to forgive quite easily and so i have changed myself a little, i am not going to let myself get hurt like that, i should not, why should i care more than what others care for... well i sound like i am a little angry hehe sorry, but yeah i forgive all honest mistakes and if anyone has offended me on purpose then . . . . i have forgiven my friends for i was able to understand it was just a mistake but yeah i don't forgive easily coz i get hurt easily too.. but yeah i do forgive them just keep them waiting for some time.
