Everyone should have a down period in our life, so for your future, I think, it depends on your atitude to your depressed life...so the best sentence I can share to you, my friends, is: Never be unduly elated by victory or depressed by failure, and another sentence should be: Those who can draw lessons from their failure are destined to success...thanks

words of wisdom,good topic,the life we live as 3 tough teachers i was gonna say beauty teachers cause too me they r but to many they would say tough,so they come to the point where they say life is tough or rough,but its no bed of roses,now the 3 teachers r 1) PAIN (2)SUFFERING (3) SACRIFICES,these teachers have taught me how to accept life and never be looking for no comfortable way out,and i am so glad i accepted these teachers casue if i never did they would not leave me alone until i did,and now if anyone should ask me which lifestyle would i prefer a luxurious one are a tought one i would choose the tough one why? because it turned me into a real man not a boy nor a baby to always be crying whenever i come under tough times but to stand and fight until u are victorious,a luxurious life for me would make me run away from pressure quickly,and i would not be brave but a coward,i could never lead nor captain my ship i would jump over board before the passengers,a rough life turns u into a figther,so i would choose that so to me accepting my teachers i now see life everday as an experience always ready to learn more always ready for the fight,to prove how much i need to learn more or see how much i have advanced on the path of knowledge,and this is some of my words of wisdom,enjoy

Care more for one another, there is always a tomorrow, look ahead, be a leader not a follower. heads up life is love. without hope we have no future. look toward a better day for yesterday is gone. smile brings on other smiles. donot worry be happy. happiness is within you. love one another we all would know each other. think first then react.

"This too shall pass" is one of my favorites!!!!! But I find "Everything happens for a reason" to be the most inspirational and wisest quotes of them all (for me of course)... That simple little saying has gotten me through some extremely tough times. No matter good or bad, everything truly does happen for a reason! Every thing that takes place in our lives (events, meeting new people, losing people, etc) happens to bring you closer to the next chapter of your life... It all takes place for a reason! Sometimes we are too blinded by our own happiness or misery though to see the bigger picture..

time heals everything, love forgives everything, we are all one, we are undivided.

Hi Fulltank. I love sayings and proverbs that hold wisdom, and some of my favorites are:

Carpe diem, which means seize the day! The present moment is the only one in which we can truly live.

Let this be the criteria by which you measure all things: Is this an act of love?

Life exists to be embraced, not merely endured.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Those have meanings which I feel don't require an explanation:))

As far as I have seen in my 21 years of life span I can not conclude in one line/para/page/book. Even then I am trying:

Life is to live......................(conditionless)

You cant control it; you need to ride it. You are not the only one in suffering.

Great topic of discussion, I must agree. I will have to say the one saying that has always stuck with me, ever since I was a child would have to be "Life's to short to be mad." All of us have a tendency to let certain things get to us, we may dwell on the problem for quite some time and this in turn causes other issues in our lives. We need to let things go and enjoy what we have been given. I know this is difficult because many of us feel that we have been given the short end of the stick and wonder how all these millionaires got their fortunes and why they flaunt it about the way they do. However, think of the problems all that money can cause. Did you know that more wealthy people commit suicide or have severe drug issues than the rest of us. They of course, can afford to to pay for the necessary treatments and stuff, but look at those that we hear about in the news and how often they have to return to treatment. Their lives aren't all that exciting, most live in very boring lives, they make their money and then don't know what to do.

Yes, I admit that I'm not happy with my current situation, but, I am finding ways to make it better and with that, I just remember not to be angry about it, I push on and make the most of it. Live, Love and be happy and laugh as often as possible. They say laughter is good medicine and we all need to do it more often!

Hi Fulltank! Words of wisdom can give readers wisdom. When I read the novel of Jane Eyre, I was inspired by these words: Life appears to me too short to be spent in nursing animosity or registering wrongs. It tells us to be merciful and tolerant to others. If we can do that, then there will be much less trouble and we shall always be happy in our lives. Happy my lotter:)
