Family without kids

I haven't really noticed a trend. I think that one partner, or both, usually want a child - even just to have someone to carry on their genes. Having children does make one feel annoyed, trapped, tired, aggravated, tired, overwhelmed, tired and more tired. But, children also gives one a sense of joy, unconditional love, an ever present love, pride, compassion, selflessness, adoration, love, love and more love.

Myself, I adore my children...AND my grandchildren...and cannot imagine life without them. I had always wanted to be a mom.

But if a couple does not want children, then by all means, they should not have them, as every child deserves to be wanted. In that respect, the trend is fine.

I'd prefer that everyone does what they wish with their life as far as kids or no kids. Regardless of the reasoning, if a couple does NOT want to have kids... most likely they'd be crappy parents... and who wants some poor child to have parents who never wanted him/her in the first place?

Lets rephrase your statement about your 11 year old... "wow - after 11 years its finally time to sneek in some of my own time". Do you know what 11 years is? Most of us who are chosing to have or not have children are in our 20's... 11 years in some cases is half of our lives!

I have a 3 year old... and I love her dearly and hope to have a little boy someday... but that doesn't mean I think everyone should think that they have to have kids. Sure it would make a ton of things easier if I didn't have her around... I could go drinking more and party more and not get nagged at the grocery store, I could sleep however late I wanted and go to bed at 4pm if I felt like it... but I like all the stuff with Jos that replaces the partying and the silent shopping trips. I like when she looks at me with those big brown eyes and says "pretty please with a cherry on top", I like that she keeps me on my toes and at 3 years old is a bigger smartass than I am!:)

When you have a child you have to give up yourself fully to that baby. I don't mean cut off your friends, etc... but you are this childs lifeline from the time you get pregnant until you or your kid passes on. You have to sacrifice a lot... and I don't blame the ones who say "I'm not ready to sacrifice this stuff"... then GREAT! Wear a condom and no oopsies! Go forward with working at that promotion or traveling the world... or sitting at home every night playing guitar hero... whatever the reason for not wanting kids is a valid reason.

I think its funny that so many people think its strange that others don't want kids.... if you and your girlfriends are sitting around "how many kids do you want..." if someone says "none" everyones eyebrows raise... but no one ever says why when someone responds "one or two or three"... know what I mean?

I can not imagine my life without my doughter. She is undivided part of life.
whenever i see her innocent and smily face, my all tensions dissapears in seconds.
I can say my doughter has brougt lot of happyness in my life.

Children are from the Lord. If a couple decides not to have a child, they will miss the opportunity of being a parent. Maybe, they just want to live conveniently. It's true, having a child is tiresome but it is rewarding.
When I got married, I wanted to become pregnant immediately. I will never exchange my cute little boy to anyone or anything here on earth. Daniel is a gift from the Lord. My husband and I are just caretakers of this little child. We are forever grateful to the Lord for the privileged He gave us.

i think that it is the choise of the couple in weather or not to have kids but i think that main concern should be the people who have kids and dont take care of them. these are the ones we realy need to worry about. and then again stop and think about the way te world is going. don't get mewrong i do have a son but things are tough as it is

I don't really want kids and neither does my boyfriend. We are planning on getting married eventually. We know we're right for each other because of all of the issues we've dealt with over the last few months. I can't imagine being with anyone else.

I think that it is totally up to that person whether or not they choose to have children. I would rather see someone choose to not have children than have a child or children that they are unable to take care of.

I can not even understand why it is so but you are right and it is really bad because if there will be more such families there will be less people and also less genious who provide our progress in technology etc. And it is also a great happiness to see how you baby for example do his/her first steps, but such families just loose their opportunities to be happy. Even our life is given us to reproduce ourselves.

Kids in general do not annoy me. Only kids with poor manners that are not being corrected by their parents annoy me.

I don't want kids myself and that's because it is a huge responsibility. Apart from that, I have a lot of things that I'd like to accomplish and I don't want to have a child just to leave him or her at home all the time.

Family is how you define it. It doesnt necessarily mean having children yourself.
