I'm so confused why the boy always appear in my brain

Many years passed, why the boy always appear in my brain. I tried to forget him, and he hurted me deeply, I really don't want to remember the thing happened me before. When I walked on the street, my heart will pain when I met someone who looked like him,I'm so confused, many years pasted, why the people can't disappear in my brain? I want be happy and don't like to life in the past. It looks very difficult for me to learn to forget. How can I do? Share your opinions to me,mylotters.

You can still see that man in your head because you are not yet over him. As you learn to let go of the pain and forgive what he has done to you... accept the things that happened, that is the only time you will be free from the pain and shadow of that person.
Bettydeng5, you need to let go. If you are having a hard time forgetting that man what ever the reasons are, just pray and God will help you heal...

Some wounds are deeper than the others and might take more time to heal. And some tend to leave a scar behind. Just remember the first year after what happened, isn't your situation better now? Also do not worry, 'time is the best medicine' for these kind of situations. And meeting someone new might also erase the bad memories.
