We will all say hello to a stranger with words like : Hello, How are you?Shake hands and some other kinds of simple body language.A dog may say hello to you by her tails, with her tongue or jump over to you (or with a bark in some cases).I think animals and human are full of different ways to hello to strangers.I remember when I first seen how the native people in New Zealand (The Mori,if my memory is correct) to say hello to a stranger,I think it is fun and creative. They will look at you with face to face, eyes to eyes and they will also touch your nose with their nose.If I haven't seen it on TV before, I will never understand their manner.I think there must be many other different ways to say hello to a stanger.Maybe you can share your opinion to me?Let's have fun with this topic^_^.

I think that the first step to communicate with a stranger is through a smile. A smile is a body language that could start everything. After having a smile, then say hello. That's the time you greet the stranger. I really tried this technique a lot of times. And i tell you..it's 100 percent effective! Come to think about it..

Hello, naojquimps.Thank you for your response.Althogh it doesn't sounds quite creative but still I agree with you that a simple smile and a simple hello is good enough in most of the times.Have a good day.

hi wildlittlefan! well i can't think of anything creative but what i normally do is i give them my best smile as i say hello to a person i just knew. i guess a smile can also help brighten up and chase the fear away of a person who is about to meet an acquaintance..

Hi,shbh 12.Thank you for your response.Yes, you are right.Although it is not that creative but it is useful to break the ice between each others.Your best smile will serve as a bridge builder and a friendly move to the strangers.I think I will start to practise my best smile in front of my mirror from now on.Anyway, have a good day and catch my smile for the time being. ^_^

If I come face to face with a stranger and I wanted to really know him. If he is wearing a nice polo or T-shirts. I can always compliment him on that area. That will make him more comfortable around me.

Guys, remember, people don't bite. A lot of people are really open to conversation. In fact, you'd be amazed at how many people will be practically overjoyed that you came and talked to them, as if they've been waiting for you to approach them. Rejection is no big deal. This can't be emphasized enough. Still, fear of rejection will be the main reason why people don't go out and try this. If you are willing to get rejected, brush it off and keep going. You will have an awesome life. Period.
