Should Compliments be taken to Heart or Head

Whenever one does some good work or becomes successful by completing an worthy job which no one couldnt complete then he would be applauded by his colleagues nd he gain confidence and he would be able to keep up with others expectations if he takes those applauds or compliments to his heart.if he takes those to his head then nothing but disaster follows him coz every thing looks easier for him which is not the case.
so what do you think compliments should be taken to heart or head?

Hi Sunny,
It’s always good to hear compliments from people especially our supervisors and co-workers for a job well-done and other accomplishments. As hardworking people we all deserve “positive stroking” and affirmations for all our efforts to give our best for a good/excellent result.
Taking all these by HEART will keep us more motivated, inspired and focus with our goals and our work as a whole. Let’s all be passionate in doing our work and in our own simple ways create an impact to those we work with.

i did not dwell on discussing the effect of taking the compliments over head because it will only give one so much stress to cope and prove how good he is to the people he's working with instead of focusing on how much of his/her inner capabilities he/she can give to have best results.

hi francisco,but yo havent mentioned what would be the scenario when we take it to the head.its always good to be on the receiving end but not many of those can keep up with the expectations coz hard work is the only way which helps us to keep going.gud day.

It depends. I think some people may become too confident if they take it too much to their head or heart. Confidence is good but too much confidence can be annoying and can sometimes give the impression that one is arrogant. I can't really say whether one is better than the other (heart or head) but either way, when given a compliment, it is always best to remain humble.

its always gud to take it to the heart coz you will never forget the compliments nd the person who has given those.if it is taken to the head one would really behave as if he is the greaest one on the earth which is not gud at all.thanks for responding rg.gud day.

to the heart for sure, its the head most of the time that gets us in trouble lol! People should give thanks that for sure but you can not get a big head or it will show and you become someone know one wishes to give thanks to anymore

yeah you are write and it depends on the person irrespective whether he takes it to the heart or head.one needs to accept those simply rather than considering those seriously which would not be advisable.thanks for responding .gud day.
