This was taken from readers digest it said that research have discovered that people who prayed regularly were 70 percent less likely to have coronary heart disease. In addition to that having a habit of prayer fights depression, prevents illness and help someone to recover faster. Do you have a habit of praying? How often do you pray? Do you think prayer is essential part in our life?

Yes, prayer has become a part of my life too. Prayer is in fact a communion with The God Almighty, and since He is the source of peace and wisdom, love and strength ( not to mention miracles), every time I spend time in prayer,I receive that peace, so the stress, anxiety, and worries go away. If you read the Bible, it is filled with His promises to you personally, and all you have to do to receive them is just to believe and to receive. I have often experience miracles in my life and I can't survive without His peace to empower me through the day. That's why my friends are just confused why I always still have a smile on my face and looks radiant (that's what they always say) even when having to work late and meet stressful deadlines.

I'm glad to know that prayer has become part of your life and I know the wonderful things it brought into your life. There's such great thing that science can't explain how prayer works tremendous and marvelous things in someones life. You know there are those times when I work so hard while doing volunteer job, but I take time to kneel down and pray and it's amazing that I still have enough strength and ability to perform my job well and help other people at the same time. Bible and prayer is indeed a source of power and strength. Thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your dasy1

Hi careguarden, prayer is already my life. I have already experienced the power of prayer when I was healed miraculosuly from asthma 13 years now when I surrendered my life to Christ. Asthma has never recurred util now. I have also suffered from some heart problems yet when I learned the power of forgiveness and reconciliation to someone whom I have misunderstanding, my heart has become okay up to now. Doctors have also discovered that reconciliation and forgiveness could really bring healing to the mind and heart of the individual. While bitterness and resentment can make us suffer from some heart disease, high blood pressure and lung problems. Isn't it when someone has heart problems and he becomes angry, we say "Hey, your heart, your heart, be careful. You might get heart attack."

I'm glad what happened to you my friend. That you've found your faith and has great belief in God. It's quite inspiring to hear the miracles that happened in your life. It's true that holding and keeping negative emotions, especially hatred and resentment affect our health conditions. It's only on forgiving and accepting things that happened will heal all our wounds inside, thus makes us feel good and healthy. It's really amazing to know that there is certain parts in our body who look after how we felt. Thank you for sharing with us my friend and enjoy your day!

I believe that prayer is a very powerful weapon with no barriers and bounds. It is more powerful than atomic bombs and automatic weapons. It is the secret of those successful people of God. I believe that there are spiritual and physical benefits of prayer. I do pray everyday and I recommend to anyone to who claims to be a child of God to pray.
