World War I effectively ended on November 11, 1918 at 11:00am. Ninety one years ago today, the world witnessed the end of World War I through the signing of Armistice in Compiege Forest, Germany. It's always nice to hear something important from World History and today arguably is one of the most important events in our lives as hostilities and atrocities of WWI came to an end. My question is: do you think this is still important to the lives of many people, especially to the old generation who suffered the brutalities of wars?

History is always important. If you don't know what happened before ,you are sure to repeat it. We all should remember the World Wars. We should remember what caused them and vow to never Ever let that happen again.

You are right. History teaches us to be more cautious with our actions so as not to repeat the same mistakes committed by the former generation. We should be reminded by history that such drastic actions could cause human distractions that must be avoided.

I think Armistice Day is important to everyone. It give us a chance to remember those who gave their lives fighting for their country, and to reflect on the horrors of war. It will always be relevant, because there will always be wars. We shouldn't forget the sacrifices these people made.

Yes, I do agree. Armistice gives importance to World History, although it is always sad remembering the terror of the war, ceasefire and signing of peace treaty always brought hope to everyone.
