Yes, they prepare the dish differently. And, when you make it there's no one to serve it to you on a platter. It's not convenient. And, maybe, you've been tasting the meal as you prepare it. So, that has an effect when you sit down to eat.

I never figured out how stuff we cook at home looks different from stuff from a restaurant,
I dont know if they use different stuff or not, and I have noticed that how ever I follow a recipe presentation is never as good, but I think my stuff tastes all right,
I dont get any complaints so I think I must be doing something right.
