Are you angry when your wife or husband stay to long time to net?

Some time ago my husband and I had an argument about this topic, because he thought that I was spending too much time online. He told me: "You don't really earn much anyway, why do you spend so much time online instead of spending the time with me". I got a little angry when he said that, because I have been trying pretty hard to earn some money online. I haven't made us rich that is true, but the money that I earn actually helps us pay our bills or pay for food, and I wouldn't call it a waste of time. We argued about the topic for a while, but now my husband is happy that earn some extra money, because he has realized that the money is a help in our daily life

I am the one who is on here the most as i am the one who is trying to earn as much as i can on here as i can not go out to work.I do let my husband come on here when he want to,as we all need a bit of social time of our own as well.

Not so much the Net, but my other half likes his games and it drives me crazy. He plugs into his violent computer games and I can't get his attention! What makes it worse is that he wears headphones when he plays so he can't hear me calling to him and when I tap him on the shoulder, he jumps and tells me off for frightening him because his game is dark and scary!

I don't get angry. I wouldn't use that word. I'd get upset if he was just fooling around on the net instead of spending time with me. If he was doing something work related or important, it wouldn't bother me because I do the same. I stay online if I was doing something useful. If I wasn't, then I'd just get off and rest my eyes.

Dear Icesmile, With reference to your question, before, I have a little bit difficulty in dealing with this situation due to some reason. I got a little bit jealous to the thing, especially when my boyfriend stays to the net from the start of dawn until the close of dawn. I cannot talk to him anymore. And when I do talking, he is just looking at me but never understand the words that I am saying. And the result, I will just try to ignore and sometimes feel neglected. However, times passed by, I try to look for another diversion, instead of just dwelling on the time talking and chatting with my boyfriend. I found some interesting things to do in the net, and that, makes me busy and occupied. The reason why my boyfriend realise that I am not doing some chats with him anymore. And whenever he do beep in the net to say hello to me, there are times, I was not able to respond. Perhaps, one of the thing that push me is the saying "If you cant beat them, join them".
