Shhh, It Is My Secret

yes there are times we cant share our secrets with all i too have so many secrets inside me but the things is i will say everything atleast to one so i can get suggestion from that person as its a secret i rely only on those trustworthy people such that your secrets are maintained as secrets with in you both and you can get ideas from them too that how i share not to all but to one

I have to say that I have NO secrets from my husband... he actually knows all there is to know about me!

you can always share your thoughts to one whom your trust worthy.But it is very difficult to find such a person in our life but once you have got such a person you can share all your thoughts idea so that you can be out of stress from your mind. Stress plays a major role in our life so you can out of stress and healthy and you can ask for there help and idea to solve any problem they will always see your happiness only.

I don't know if gender plays a major difference because my wife discloses everything to me, even the petty things. I guess it's her way of venting out what ever she has in mind. But i can't seem to tell her everything due to the thought that there are things that i thought would upset her or she may not agree that i'd keep a secret. Cheers!

Given the cultural background and norms followed in your society, perhaps you were right up to an extent to hide your affair from your family or friends. I believe that we live in such an environment where it becomes difficult to keep the secrets under the carpet, they come out in the open sooner or later. Everyone has some little secrets and I am not an exception, however, I feel uncomfortable sharing ‘secrets’ on this kind of public platform and moreover, I reveal a secret thing, it will not longer be called a ‘secret’.........LOL!

i've got my secrets, i won't tell my partner. he'll use them against me at some stage in an argument. sometimes he can be really good and other yeah well.

If there is something my wife doesn't know about me, I would be shocked! I believe she has shared all with me as well since we have no shocking things left to tell each other,, and the telling brought us much closer together also.

But each person has his own reasons to act as they do. You certainly had and It was a very good idea at that time, wasn't it? When fear of rejection or anger or doubt or humiliation is a reason not to tell, I would certainly understand why NOT to mention all things!

I would say that, personally, I have no secrets from my wife. I am fortunate in that she has never judged me, nor I her. That is not to say that I might keep something from her in the future, but it would be something small, and more unimportant. Normally, couples tend to keep things like sexual fantasies secret, and of course things like affairs. I have never had an affair, so there is no problem there. I have kept some fantasies from her early in our marriage, but later on we talked about them, and I was able to open up. It is good to have someone who you can confide in about things.

I too have a little secret and I guess we don't use to be sold. It is very hard to surrender oneself even we get their positive respond to our strongest attributes.
