Have you experienced being re-born?

A friend of mine way back in college have an accident from drunk driving and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. After several revival by the ER doctors (with the electric shocks and all), my friend come to life. Now, he's a social worker and uses his own experience to teach other people of the worst possible thing that could happen while drunk driving. He said that his whole life had change and he thinks that he was re-born. Do you have a similar experience such as this?
