Why are peoples who don t understand that nobody is immortal?

"This can t happened to me"...WRONG., VERY WRONG.... Life is full of surprises, and every step can happened everything...nobody is immortal, every bad or good situation can be true for us too... But are peoples who all time think that they are superiour, that all will be ok for them, and never can happened something bad with them...maybe this come with age, with experience in life.. Do you think that nothing bad can happened in your life?
