Horrible news

I am tempting in a fiberglass factory and start a new job Monday... Tomorrow is my last day at the factory, but something HORRIBLE happened today...
A man I work with was crushed in a conveyor belt today and died from this tragic accident. It was very sad and a hectic day.
It all started this morning. The first thing I knew of was that someone was stuck in the conveyor, then the ambulance came but they said he was already dead. Then the police came to investigate, and OSHA, etc etc... What a horrible way to die!

Yes it was very sad. I also hope he didn't suffer, but I am unsure. I hope his family is okay. Terrible! And he was only 50. He had worked at the company for 11 years. : (

That is so tragic... even if i did not witness the accident... i had goosebumps just reading your discussion... i hope the company will impose more safety measure so that this sort of thing will not happen again... and that the company will also compensate the family of the worker...

I am really very sorry to know all taht. It is a natural taht you had belongingness for your collegue and felt so sad. But, at the other hand, your collegue was to meet his/her fate in taht way only. But, you had natural belongingness towards that fellow and felt ethically.
