I am going to operate on a cornual pregnancy. It is risky because it would be a very bloody operation. Many who underwent the operation eventually would have hysterectomy because of the damage the ectopic pregnancy might have. I hope that this patient of ours would have an easier operation. I prepared blood units for it. I lend her some sutures because she could not afford to buy them for now. What all of us were concerned about was her safety and recovery.

hello mimiang! well, wish you luck! i hope for the success of the operation and for the safety of your patient... are you an ob-gyne? what's the cause of that pregnancy? how it happens? hope you don't mind me asking... i hope all doctors are like you, who have great concern for the safety & welfare of their patient...are you serving in a private or government hospital? hmmm, i guess by this time you are done with the operation...so how was it? thanks & good day!

We were done with the exploratory laparotomy.Usually the cause is infection in the fallopian tubes, thus causing obstruction of passage of the fertilized ovum into the uterus. Our patient still needed to be transfused of three more units of blood even if we transfused three while the surgery was ongoing. Our epinephrine was really at high level. It was a very bloody operation. She was able to tolerate it. She was very stable now and was anbulating since this morning as if nothing happened. We were very thankful. We are in the government hospital. Our utmost concern, of course, is the welfare of our patients. It is the best achievement we have everyday- we were able to make them get the complications of their illnesses and the major surgery. Thank you very much for wishing me luck.We need it everyday because some fight for their life when they come to us.

oh i see, well its good to know that she's doing good now and just hope for her fast recovery...and congrats for the success... huh! its really difficult to get pregnant, with all those risks... im glad to know about you & your line of work and i think people like you are also a hero...saving lives of people. i heard someone saying that for her being a doctor is not a profession, but a vocation... that's why she choose to stay here and serve her fellow Filipinos instead of going abroad even if there are offers for her and better job opportunity...i admire people like them... good day & God bless...
