In your birthday or valentines day, do you wish receiving flowers from your boyfriend or husband. How many flowers you like, one, eleven or more? I prefer my husband saving the money instead of buying flowers for me. We can use that money to have dinner or watch movies. What do you think?

I love getting one or two flowers on a special occasion, but I never get them. My boyfriend doesn't really give me much gift-wise, he's always making excuses as to why he can't, even though we both know he could have, he just chose not to.

hi,bentoyhk! actually,I seldom receive flowers from my boyfriend! sometimes I think flowers are so beatiful and I would like to receive them, but most of the time I cannot remember flower things.and when my boyfriens presents me a single rose,I love it very much.I prefer a single rose than a bunch of them.because a single rose is so unique and precious, just like a lover in the other's eyes... roses aren't cheap and they wither in a couple of days.so I would rather spend money on some other practical things like having dinner togethr than spend money on roses.when people don't have much money,it's advisable for them to think in a romanic way rather than consume in a expensive way. ok,that's all. have a nice day!

yeah i do, i love flowers especially if it is given to me by my loved one. it may sound mushy or corny but woman loves it no matter how cheap the flower is, it's romantic and a woman may feel important...

A single flower is ok but like you I would prefer to put that money to another use. My husband often ask if I would like flowers and my typical response to him is that it is a huge was of money. Yes they are pretty to look at but will soon die. I tell him if he feels the need to buy flowers choose something that is potted that I can keep for a while.

I think you're right. it's better to save the money. love don't have to express with flowers. there are so many little things in our daily life that can express the true love. and i think, those little things are more important than flowers.
