Does your child play little league Baseball?  

Mine probably would if i would let them have a bad.

My child does not like base ball. He plays cricket. he is a cricket addict.

My three youngest children have played little league baseball for the past 12 years. I have loved every minute of it. It's great if they have a natural ability to play the game. Keep your little one encouraged to keep playing little league ball. One thing I have taught my children is not to argue with the umpire. I have seen a lot of parents that will act out over a call the umpire has made that they don't agree with. The kids see this behavior and it changes their attitude of the game. I tell mine that the call the umpire makes is the call that's made whether they agree with it or not. They must treat the umpires with respect and have a positive attitude whether they agree or not. Being a team player with a good attitude is very important during this time. It is also helpful later on when they move on to other things. The team work and positive attitude they learned early on will stay with them.

All three of my sons have played and I have coached each one of them. It is a joy to teach kids some of the skills of the game and to watch them succeed. Just watch out for overbearing, coaches, parent and kids who forget how young these kids are. It should e fun and educational, not life or death.
