What do you think the big ticket "Black Friday" item will be this year?
It seems every year there is something that is surprisingly marked down a bit more than people expect. So, what do you think the item will be this year?
Do you plan on going shopping the day after Thanksgiving? If so, is there anything in particular that you are hoping to find on sale?

I heard about a flat screen TV from target -for a good price. I just don't remember the details since I'm not planning on shopping. I'm too broke - I live from paycheck to paycheck as it is. Anyway, if you are, be careful out there!

Actually I just read an article that said that many companies are refusing to mark down items drastically like they did like before. The biggest things those this season seems to be electronics. We'll probably see discounted laptops, TVs, GPS devices, cameras, etc. I don't think there is going to be anything too surprising. The new inventions like the kindle etc. never really got big rave reviews so no big breakout items this season.

I haven't seen those articles, but I wouldn't be surprised. Maybe, instead they will be marking down smaller ticket items. How about digital frames? That is what I have been thinking. Well, actually I have been thinking that they are just way overpriced to begin with. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I am thinking that it might be the Wii. I have been considering purchasing one for my family. It would be an entire family gift. I never shop black Friday. People can be scary around that time. No way!

That's funny! However, it is true. People can be very scary during that time of year. I think I will look at the sales papers and see if there is anything that I just can't live without. If not, then I will do without it. LOL
Thank you for your response in this discussion, and have a beautiful day!
