For me, classical music works very well. I have a collection of CDs of classical music of my country as well as from other countries overseas. I listen to them every evening after I get back home from work, that's to get rid of all the stresses of the day. People will have different preferences, I know. But, you might try classical music too. Have a nice day !

I suggest you listen to songs/music that are lively like cascades.just kidding. :). Just listen to upbeat songs. Songs that make you stomp your foot, snap your fingers. That way you'll get rid of sadness that you're feeling now.
