About deer meat...

I've had it quite a lot actually. They're all over the place up hereand i have a lot of friends who hunt. It's pretty good, if it's prepaired properly. It tastes a bit like a mild beef, with a little "twang" to it I guess is how I would describe it. It depends on a lot of factors. What the deer had been eating, it's age and size, was it a standing kill or was it killed while running, how long was it hung, how was it gutted and how you cook it.
