Have you ever gotten a free hotel stay for viewing a time share? In some of the more frequently traveled areas, like Gatlinburg and Myrtle Beach, they offer you a free hotel stay if you will just view their time share. Has anyone ever done this? I think some times they also offer you tickets to get in free to a show or amusement. Let me know your thoughts on these deals, and if it is worth it when you really need to save money.

My parents have done this when we were younger and they would take us with them. So we get to enjoy all kinds of stuff while they go to a meeting for half a day regarding the time share. It's the cheapest way to travel y'know. You get room and board for free! Of course as long as you don't mind the time that you have to go to the time share meeting. I've considered it as a vacation option with this stale economy. =P

I've done it a few times. And have considered it for next year. I am planning a vacation right now, but I will be staying with friends, so it isn't really an option. Thank you for responding in this discussion. Have a wonderful day!
