In your opinion, what animal is the most intelligent, why?

The human species is undoubtedly the most intelligent creatures in the animal kingdom. Thats a fact. I could say that the crocodiles are the next in line. For the reason that they have outwitted the dinosaurs and have learn to stay here on earth for thousands of years makes them the most adaptable living creatures today. There may be some other animals like them but the crocodiles are the ones always tagged as the oldest species to roam the earth.

I think that dolphins are amongst the most intelligent creatures that exist right now because dolphins save people and are very altruistic in that they saved people from shipwrechs and shark attacks. also dolphins coordinate with each other during a hunt it is almost similar to a military operation. so yeah dolphins are the smartest for me. The most intelligent animals are CATS. They are very smart and responsive and understanding. I think so because the cat was my educator for 18 years, from I was 2 year old. She was the best friend and congenial soul all these years. I don't say that all cats are smart and intelligent, but some of them is very educated and equal with human.
