I have always liked this show and because my daughter has a smaller degree of this sixth sense she thoroughly enjoys the show. She knows when things are going to happen and can make things happen sometimes. My grandmother always knew when things had happened. I had an inlaw for afew years that for a period of time had dreams that were precognitive. My daughter and I both wonder how people with the extreme of this can learn to 'shut off' the voices? I read a story once where these voices had driven a gal to a nut ward and the adventure that insued for her. I have known people locally with this gift and we even had some gypsies in the area years ago that were charlotins and really caused some problems for people until they were run out of here. Do you have this gift? Do you know anyone that does? How do you percieve that it can be that these people can hear all these voices? How can they differentiate between them and make any sense out of them? Have you ever had a weird feeling about something and something weird happened?

Several times I have and they came ture my hubby was a good one to know when things would happen he just didnt ever tell before hand.
Like when that was it the AChallanger went up he had dreamed of it exploding.
and I saw the orange smoke of it in the sky we lived in Georgia at that time.

I love watching both Medium and Ghost Whisperer. They are based on real people. They make me feel not so alone. The reason your husband probably doesn't tell it because no one will believe him or think he's crazy. I remember growing up and telling my babysitter things I either dreamed about or heard. She was afraid of me. It caused problems so I stopped talking about it. I can't control it and can't do anything with the information. I use what I can and go on. I get good things and bad things. If I'm really really sick, people are going to get hurt or die. That's the feeling I really don't like.

I've had premonition dreams about substitute teachers when I was in school. Whether a teacher told us they were going to be out for a day and who our sub would be, or whether they just said they'd be out, or if they even did, I would dream the night before of who the sub would be! Now if I already knew I might dream of what could happen, but I don't remember if it ever did. By what could happen I mean what the sub teacher might say, or what a student might say, but not anything bad that could happen.

Lots of people have the gift, they don't believe it to be what it is or they don't understand it. It's not something I can control. Unfortunately, for me, I have seen tragic things happen with mine. I have seen plane crashes and automobile accidents before they happened. I hear things sometimes. Usually, I would only see things that pertained to me or my family. That changed. I get sounds or smells or have weird feelings or dreams. Luckily, I don't get many voices, but I get some and not all the time (thank goodness). Most of the time they overlap and I don't understand. Other times, one voice is clear. One day I had planned on going to go to the grocery store after work. When I got off work I was unusually tired. The more I thought about going to the store, the more tired I felt. I heard a voice saying "Go home." I went home. Later, on the news, there was a segment about several people having a gunfight in the strip mall where the grocery store was located. People that hear a lot of voices are extremely sensitive. They have to be strong not to go crazy.
