those sites are free to join... and yeah you're right, sites that require for payment usually are scams..

I have found any site which payouts are as high as that are scams. I personally stay away from these unless theres proff that people are getting payed. Theres over 100 people here who can easily show that mylot does pay. Thank god mylots payouts are that high or none of us would be getting paid.
