sometime we need to break rules for good things  

Hi,
i am good rule follower. But its happen so many times in school, college, office, or even in home, we need to break a rule for some good thing may be unwantedly.

I well remember, when i just completed my masters, one of my friend came here in pune for bank exam. so morning 8 am we went to examination center. Exam was suppose to start at 9 am. 8.30 am he came to know that he forgot exam id card at my home. so , i asked him to stay there only and i was came home on bike to take id card. At that time if i go by regular route, it was not possible to reach there at 9. so, i took short cut, it was one way and heavy traffic road.anyhow i reached there and gave him id card. I took one long breath, and shocked to see traffic police in front of me. i told him everything happened.But for him rules were rules. so i gave penalty fee.
Now, my friend is maneger in well reputed bank. whenever we meet he remembers this thing each time. At that time i broke rule and drives on opposite to one way, bit net result was good and satiesfactory. But it should be untill and unless it is necessary.
So, do you have any incident to share?
