Corruption takes place in almost everywhere in the world. Its basic reasons may be poor governmental systems, weak law and order situations, poverty, unemployment, illiteracy etc. Though the basic reasons depict that this occurs more in poor countries more but dont you think corruption takes place in rich countries also? What do you think?

Yes. First point the culture of law in that particular country. If the law is poor or poorly exercised, then it will occur. Corruption always look for gaps. These gaps may be the bad goverment, dishonest politician, greedy government officials, unemployment etc. Thank you.

I think corruption takes place more in poorer countries where the leaders are with holding funds and opportunities for the normal people. Look st all the countries where people are dying from starvation bet the leaders are all tucking into a nice big meal. But it can happen in all countries even in uk look at the recent expenses scandal that is a form of corruption taking tax payers money for stuff that has nothing to do with them doing their jobs.

You are very correct. The most poorest country leaders live in most luxurious styles. They generate the corruptions in their own country. The very corruption pattern has got some basic difference between rich countries and poor countries. Thank you.
