Why is it when we buy jewelry they charge an arm and a leg, though when we go to pawn or sell it we don't get anything back? Then you know they turn around and sell it for what we paid for it to begin with? And they say gold and all went up? Guess its one of those vicious cycles that you deal with in life.
I went to check to see how much I could get out of my rings. I went in and told them I just wanted to see what I would get out of them, curious george, I would say. One of them, a rich ex boyfriend of mine got for over 200, they said they would only give me 10 dollars for there was a jewl missing and they would have to "scrap" it. right, they would fix and sell, I am not that gullable. Then the other five rings I would get about the same, they said they don't sell cubic ziroconias. HHHAAA, that was funny, I bought one of the rings there. Most of those rings I paid anywhere from 50-100 dollars. So out of all those rings, they would pay me 50 dollars, I took the rings back home with me.
Gotta love those pawn shops!!!

too bad there wasn't a way to get more and have legal standards on these pawn shops but there isn't. I sure will keep them.

I don't know why they do that. I guess they're really trying to make a huge profit from us. I mean damn. I spend good money for my rings and things and your gonna pay me less than a fourth that I paid for. It's completely crazy. I remember I took this diamond necklace that my mother's ex-boyfriend bought me years ago for Christmas and it was worth at least $600 and they told me they would give me $20 for it. I was like are you kidding me and left with the necklace. I was really outraged but couldn't do nothing about it. I wish they were a bit better on those things. I recently wanted to go in and see how much I could get for my rings but I didn't feel like getting disappointed but I need some extra cash for some bills. Oh well, I guess I need to find someone to buy instead.

I know what you mean, its so depressing that we pay really good money for them, then they pay nothing back if we want to sell them, then you know they will sell for what we paid in the beginning, if not more. We could probably get more out of them if we just sell on our own.
