How to make online friends from internet?

I tried to make online friends from internet, I fixed the Skype and search the online friends from different countries, but I failed, though I added those friends, and sent hello to those, but to my disappoinment, they don't send any message to me. How to make online friends from internet?

ok first dont go to skype to make online friends. Go to debating forums, if you like comics than go to onemanga. Or if you love games then go play some multiplayer online games like runescape. If that does not work out then go to online chat rooms 100% you will able to make friends there easily.
