Why does a child gives us so much... JOY??

A little child, when she was around 3 months old used to come to our house, my mom would bring her in. Then this little one used to come really regularly. She was always a bundle of joy. We are all grown-ups so this little doll would get all the pampering and love right from my father to my youngest brother.
Today she is 4 years old and has turned to be a very sweet naughty little kid. She loves all of us as she has been knowing us from her birth. And if she doesn't turn up at our place for some time then we'll get so very anxious for her little visits.
I just wanted to add this here that when she comes in, she makes each one of us to behave like a child. She invariably becomes our center of attraction with her little stuttering words and that radiant smile.
Just wanted to know from you, do you turn a kid amongst kids? Do you love to be with children? Anything you wanna share about your kids or the child you love.

For me, my own and all other children, are God's greatest gift! They give because they cannot help it. Loving kindness, humor, curiosity...it is all in the nature of every child.
I've been granted the gift of three wonderful daughters, all women now, 8 perfect grandchildren, and another grandchild on the way. I've had the privilege of working with and being around and even teaching children for the better part of my life.
I bleed for the ones who have that inborn joy, love, curiosity, and innocence "drummed" out of them by certain uncaring others.

Hey Karen,
Eight grandkids, they must be occupying your attention if they all are together. Yes, my freind, they are God's greatest gift.

I think a child is absolute innocence personified.Look at a baby and one can get the feeling that how wonderful it would be if all of us humans will always be so innocent! Its that characteristic thing in a child which brings so much joy in us.

Hello dear brother,
A child always bring joy and happiness to every home.
The innocent looks i guess is the reason why this little angels bring so much happiness in us.
The looks in their eyes, the smile and laughters.
I remember how my first child bring peace between me and my mom.
My mom disowned me for sometime in my life.
But when she sees my daughter,(she is 4 months old that time my mom seen her for the first time)her heart melts...and the moment my mom hug and kiss my daughter, she really did burst in tears.(my daughter is also the first grandchild in my family)
My mom forgiven me without words, and her world was centered to my daughter during her 2 months stay and visit here in our country(she is living abroad).
Have a great weekend dear

Hello my dear Sis,
You have narrated a very touching story here. I have also come across some people who have parted and then come together just because of a child. We here in our place have a saying that "a child is an avtaar of God". It is really so very true.
The innocence and radiance of a child is as refreshing as fresh a drop of dew in our mundane struggle of life.
You have a great weekend ahead too dear Sis.
Bodhi,
P.S. I am really so sorry to know about your freind, I am grief stricken too.
