Hello mylotters, this is not something new to every-one. from my experience it all started in friendster, where people are added even though you don't know them at all. in my experienced i started adding people way back years ago because i too wanted to reached five hundred friends, but after a while, that's when i realized it wasn't worth the add, but some people still doing it. Now, Face-book has become international and from what i can recall you can really add true friends there and you can't pretend because you're name is truly needed there as part of the information. But wow! what the heck?! almost every single day i would see in my friendster bulletin or announce in a group regarding they are asking for friendship and giving out their email addresses, not just in friendster but also in face-book. some are even consider getting people to add them just for the sake of winning a stupid contest, i should have told that creep to join mylot instead. I realized now online, that most people have lost the essence of adding friends in a social networking site. i know i have added friends because i have been their friend online, but what about the others, can you freakingly at least introduce yourself. some are not adding me, that's fine, am "through" adding & requesting for friends-request...for the moment, i supposed. I got so many list of friends, but which "one" is real or "torn" in your back..

Yeah, a lot of people do seem to have that kind of habit wherein they would just add people who requested for their friendship even when they didnt know who it was or have no possible connections with them whatsoever. I have a Friendster account and it has been a while since I last visited it, even before the rise of popularity of FaceBook. There have been those who added me who I didnt know. Well, actually I regard my Friendster account as personal. I mean it is the first social networking account that Ive had and I was already late in joining the band wagon because I just not fond of creating profiles of myself. So whoever adds me up in Friendster and I had no idea who they are and my friends dont have connections with them, then I just ignore the request. Eventually they will just delete the request. I dont have a Facebook yet and Im actually dreading the day that I would be required to create one. I feel that I just have too many profiles already and as for the games I can have unlimited games in other gaming sites. The exposure of the personal information really gets to me sometimes. Though with my other online profiles, Ill add anyone who requests for it. Those are just secondary profiles and ones that I actually dont visit more than Friendster. Its still nice to have friends but its good when all those friends that add us or that we request for friendship actually become friends and not just a "friend from...(insert social networking site)".

I have friendster account but I stop logging into that sites because I feel it useless be there always. Much better to log in in facebook and twitter than to visit that sites, my friend...
