Should women be allowed to be ordained as priests?

I think they should be! I know there is other Christian religions who let women become ministers and pastors! Why not priests? There are women who would like to be and I think it would be a great idea! The Catholic church needs to get with the times! They keep complaining they are short on priests! If you let women become prients there wouldn't be a problem! I sure don't see one!

the Church sees itself as the "Bride of Christ" and the priests as the embodiment of Jesus. So, a female priest would be seeing it as a Lesbian relationship

I agree females should be able to be ordained as priests. Women are in most professions so why not in the church too. I would love to see a female priest in my life time that would be really cool!
