I was just watching poisoidon ,the movie where the ship was capsized by a huge wave. Now this was about a huge ship ,pretty much like titanic with some very rich people and aristocrats. These are people who under normal circumstances would turn up their noses at any kind of antisocial behaviour but when tragedy stuck even the aristocrats were seen behaving as animals and even trampling kids and injured.
Now ,this just goes to show that even people with so called "high moral fibre" will turn to animals when its a case of survival.Have you seen this or any other movie that taught you a very valuable lesson ?.What was that movie and what was the lesson

Spiderman - "With great power comes great responsibility." Relate the statement with people in real life and it holds more meaning.

Funny I already knew how evil people can be and usually are. The surprising things I find in the movies is when someone who was real selfish turns around and does something right. I found that out when I saw Schindler's List. Spoiler alert! If you haven't seen this film and you want to , stop reading this post. Okay , here I go.Schindler was a first rate con man but when he saw he could help, he did.Not only that but when it was over, he kicked himself for not doing more!

Hi, ronnyb! I loved the movie, The Pursuit Of Happiness. Will Smith was on this movie. It really made me think, I have even cried. This movie reminded me so much of my husband. How he had to rent a motel just so we can have a place to stay. Will did the same thing with his son. He had to struggle just so that he could get his feet in the door. And this movie should teach people that you will have to crawl before you walk. Life is not going to be fun at first but it will get better as time progresses. This was the best movie that I have ever seen Will Smith in. My next favorite movie of his would be Seven Pounds.

i DID SEE THAT MOVIE & THOUGHT IT VERY GOOD. wHAT DID IT TEACH ME TO STAY OFF OF SHIPS.
.I found out a long time ago rich people are just like us poor folks. They put their pants on just like we do, one leg at the time.

I would say nothing. I have seen many romantic movies and one thing I am sure about is that they teach us nothing. The stories which they show is far from reality and if one thinks that they can be the hero of some kind from any movie then they ar the fools.
Movies are nothing but imagination and one can go anywhere with their imagination, isn't it?
Now, what do you learn from the movie "2012"?

Its like woman and children first ,we used to watch films like that.No one likes to think they would behave like that pushing and shoving. We were on holiday a few years back and we got talking to an old man who told us that he had helped to dish out bottled water as we had a terrible floods all the water supply got contaminated in certain areas of our country.A woman with twins and a two year old came with her husband to collect free water, quite a few people in the queue shouted when they got more than most people as they really needed a lot of water. He said he could not beleave how some people behaved ,when larger families turned up to collect their water. When it comes to surving it is every man for himself. It must be the survival instinct ,survival of the fittest.Just lets hope we never have to find out.

There is a difference between knowing and doing.. People who are respected in this world as philosophers were people who showed what they say actually works. Yes in real time situation they do act as animals ... That proves there is a animal in every philosopher ..

There's no movie in particular but generally most movies taught us or made us realized that reality was or will never be as good as the movies unless it was based on a "true to life story". There are times it would be close but still it's quite different
