My Time For a New Computer is Now. What should I Buy?  

I had a look at Mac,s and I was a bit shocked at how expensive they are. The one I want is 1200 GBP anmd its a cracker, but I cant afford it.
It had all the latest gadgets, but its going to remain a dream for a while yet.

Mac is a branded computer, my friend. This is good one but when there is a trouble you probably annoy because mac has it's own service and parts is not available in all the computer store. That is the disadvantage of branded computer, my friend. If you were buy I suggest you to buy clone computer so that when there is a trouble you can afford the service fee when calling a technician...

New today in computer is core2quad processor with 2 gig higher speed, memory of about DDR4 8 gig if possible, with SLI,GPU,wifi,card reader,and features being the best to look for. But most of all consider processor,memory,hard drive capacity...inspect also the controller if there is HDMI,SATA,IEEE controller a replacement of USB and other interface...

Hello andy, this all depends on how you want to use your computer. Do you want a computer for basic purposes like surfing the net, using applications such as the office suite and things like that or do you want to mainly concentrate on gaming? I would recommend that you go for a pc that has a dual core processor! They do quad core now (four processors within the same housing unit), it's unlikely that you will need quad core though as it can be very expensive as well as powerful. I would recommend that you go for standard IBM as opposed to Mac but I don't know much about Macs as I've never used them. Ideally you want to go for as much RAM or memory as possible with a reasonably sized hard drive capacity, at least 500GB nowadays! I use Dell myself and I'm really happy with my system, I've had no problems with it. Anyway, whatever you decide to do I wish you the best of luck and a big welcome to My Lot as well! Andrew
