That's right, you told and shared the right point during this economy tenebrous time. Many needy parties right now waiting for helping hand's benison. At this time the helping hands is much better than the praying lips. So for those who still enjoy good food on daily basis must apply clean plate syndrome, avoid leftover although a little.

I think the reason for some folks not having enough to eat is because of pride. I sometimes has to make a trip down to my local food bank on occassions. I do it only when I really need their assistance for food. I thought that every community has it own resources to help their people out in the time of need, I see no reason for others to help each other out unless its to help the food bank and other charities that provide services for their community.

Sadly the people that need food are just "poor" but everyday working folks too! If you have looked out there in the job market the jobs that are there are low paying. Trust me I went back to work last year after being home and struggling for 5 yrs so we could just get groceries for the fridge or gas for the van. I work 4-15hrs a week, it's not much but I cannot afford day care and I work when my hubby is home. It sux BUT I told hubby either I get a part time job to help out or we sign up for the food pantry. I just keep thinking life will get better when my lil guy (2yrs old) is old enough for 5k, then I could atleast get a 20-30hr+ job. But it's some time to wait 4 more years, 4 long years!

Thank you moneymommy, your feelings are awesome for the needy, you have love in your heart for the needy. May God Bless you. My church family, has a food fund ministry going on right now for food to feed families for the up coming holidays. We are planning to feed at least 30 families. My church family isn't a big congregation, but we do accomplish what we set out to do. Have a Blessed Day.
