On Thanksgiving I will be seeing my dad,his girlfriend,my sister, her boyfriend,my two brothers, their wives,my two nieces,my two married nephews, their wives, another nephew and my two great nephews. The one one who won't be there is the nephew who is in prison! My 23 year old nephew killed someone when he was 17! After confessing to a former girlfriend,he was arrrested and charged with murder! He had just turned 18! He was an Eagle Scout! A straight A student! He just signed two scholarships to attend college! He was going to be his graduating classes Salutatorian! He had it going good and he threw it away! He stood trial and was comvicted of mrder! He got 32 years and could be paroled at 50! Some figured he did it because the guy was an easy target! Also must people thought he was strange! My nephews defense was he was drunk was taken advantage of! So when he gothe sober realized what happened and shot the guy to death! My brilliant naephew thought he was going to get way with it! He was so wrong! The idiot started bragging about what he did only months after he did it! At first no one thought he was serious! An ex-girlfriend did!She told the police and had him confess over the phone while the cops recorded the conversation! So I haven't seen this nephew in 6 years! I send him Christmas and birthday cards. His parents visit him just about every weekend! I still love the guy even for what he did! I hope he has or will learn from what he did! He had so much going for himself and he threw it away!

It is really sad when people throw their life away, whether it be a crime or whether it be another type of wrong decision. Sorry your Nephew is in prison, but maybe he will have learned his lesson, it's sad that he won't be able to experience life as he should have though.
