Do you have experience to have online shop on ebay?

My best friend is pregnact now, she doesn't have job, she would like to open an online shop on internet,so she asked me to give her some suggestions. But I don't have any experience to hae online shop to sell something. I think first she need to know what goods she want to sell; second,she doesn't know how to open a online shop on ebay. Mylotters, could you pls give me some good advices, so hope it will be helpful to my friend. Thank you in advance.
