I am so excited! I got tickets to an advanced screening of "Old Dogs", starring Robin Williams and John Travolta for November 21, 2009! This movie is about 2 best friends - Travolta and Williams, and how they deal with each other and Williams' newly discovered seven year old twin children. One of Williams' twins is portrayed by John Travolta's daughter Ella Bleu Travolta. Williams' ex-wife is portrayed by Travolta's real life wife Kelly Preston. Anyhow, it was a great movie! The best part is that the tickets were free! I got them from the newspaper that we subscribe to. We requested them and were lucky enough to get tickets for two! Since participating in this program we have been lucky enough to see "Wolverine", "This Is It", "The Stepfather", "2012", and now "Old Dogs". I am so happy to be able to go to the movies for free!! I hadn't been able to go to the movies for years and now I am getting these freebies I am able to enjoy movies on the big screen and a free date night with my husband! This really makes my day! Happy dance!! Have a great day and happy myLotting!!

That's really great. Free date entertainment is always a plus! I have seen the commercicals for "Old Dogs" and they made me laugh very hard. Especially when the red haired guy, Seth Green is being held by the gorilla and singing to keep him calm. I hope the movie does well.

Oh wow, you got another free ticket from that newspaper subscription! Ahh, so that's what that movie is. I mean I havent really heard of the title of the movie. I havent also heard of the movie. But I have watched an episode of Ellen where John Travolta and his daughter were guests. I was slightly surprised because like I mentioned I havent heard of the movie. They showed a short funny clip from the movie and it does seem like a fun family friendly movie. Nice to know that you had another fun movie date. Merry Christmas!

How lucky you are to get to watch all the movies for free. I'm so jealous. I've heard of the movie Old Dogs and have been wanting to watch it because two of my favorite actors are in there - John Travolta and Robin Williams.

That is so cool, schultzie! What an excellent way to see movies for free. I haven't gone to a theater for many years because they are so darned expensive! Even the matinee fees are outrageous. I remember going to the movies with 50 cents; 25 cents to get in and 25 cents for the snack machines. (Guess that kinda ages me, huh? lol) Anyway, I'm so very happy for you! What a great way to get dates out of your husband! LOL I think I could even get my husband out the door if I got free tickets but I haven't heard of anything like that around here. It does kind of remind me of one summer, before I was married with kids, when I kept winning concert tickets from one local radio station. I won about 10 pairs of tickets that summer and had an absolute blast! I saw Chicago, Sha Na Na, Devo, The Dooby Brothers, Todd Rundgren, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and some others I can't remember right now. It was awesome and I bet you're feeling like I was right about now. I've been wanting to see "Old Dogs" so I'm glad to hear that it is an awesome movie. Thanks for the bit of background on the actors, too. That's always interesting, to me, anyway. Keep up the great work! That really is so very cool!!!
