Straightening your bed lets you have a good day?

I don't know. Someone told me this once. If you make your bed, your day will turn out good. I tried it once and it happened to be a good day for me. But usually in the mornings Im too much in a hurry to get out of the house (because I like sleeping as late as possibly thanks to the snooze button) Do you make your bed every morning? And does it really affect the outcome of your day?

Just heard of that, I will try it and check it if it is true because I like having a good day.

One should always keep his surroundings clean and arranged in a proper manner that brings good attitude and discipline in one's life. Also if u would believe me according to Hindu mythology, you actually become more richer by following this practice. So also u can take the example of a dog who cleans the area before it sits down.

Yes I do agree that psychologically, it does instill a sense of discipline. Making your bed every morning sets the mood for you to complete your daily chores for the rest of the day. Ive tried it and it works for me. strange isnt it? haha

there is no logical explanation for not having your bed done and suffer the whole day...though i make my bed every morning still i have bad day, like this morning....

Aww...haha...I know there is no logical explanation but is there, perhaps a psychological experience? Or is it just the old folks' way of acting on our guilt so we make our beds every morning?

I don't think it is applicable, at least it isn't for me. I make my bed since I was 10, everyday, and so far should I list the bad things that happened, 2 pounds paper won't be enough to write them all!!

Haha! I guess that is true for someone who has the habit of making their own bed. But how about someone who does not have the habit? Someone who is forced to make their bed every morning? will it have a psychological effect on the person to at least complete the tasks he/she sets out to do for the time-being at least? PS: how do you manage to keep up the habit? (good or bad-its subjective LOL!)
