Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Thank you, Freedom. I hope you and your family have the best Thanksgiving ever. We celebrated yesterday because my oldest son is doing security at Walmart from 10:00 p.m. tonight until 7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. The Black Friday sales begin at 5:00 a.m. tomorrow, so I wanted him to rest today and make sure to get enough sleep because he has to be very alert to face the madness. I cooked pies on Tuesday and the rest of the meal yesterday. I was stunned because everything turned out perfectly! Usually, my stuffing is over-baked or I burn the rolls, something usually goes wrong. Not enough to ruin dinner but I've always wanted everything to turn out perfectly and, yesterday it did, for the first time in my life! Of course, I'm paying for it today... big time. My son helped but it was still an awful lot for me to do in one day and I'm very sore today. I cleaned up all I could last night but I was totally exhausted so I left the rest for this morning. Well, when I got up, hobbled into the kitchen and saw what I had to do yet, I hobbled right back out. LOL I'll get to it, eventually. It's not going anywhere. So, I hope you have a perfect Thanksgiving, too! I think I'll just go fishing and get to the dishes tonight.
