hello dhanasekart!
in some countries perhaps, women are still not given total empowerment..but here in the Philippines, we can really say that women have been empowered, although there may be some little exceptions but generally, women have infiltrated all areas of endeavor in the field, be it in politics, economics, military, judiciary, education, large corporations and the like.. women occupies the 5% topmost position in these areas, if not the topmost..

Hello dhanasekart1984 this is checkmail and think Women empowerment is an better move made by the COuntry, society, peoples.Yeah for nearly a decade or so women have been lagging behind mens or pushed behind them, stating first preference to mens.Though there were many odds still some womens found out an way to great in our History.Naturally proof is in our History that womens also can equal as well as go ahead of mens. And nowaday also few womens have topped the worlds popularity, through various proffession.Yeah still there is need to spread awarness between those women who aren't knowing about it.They must be encouraged constantly if we want to force the women empowerment in the society, country.Yeah but as always there must be a proper balance in nature, same way there must not be over done in this case too.Else nothing is wrong with the idea of women empowerment.

I think there are issues I am not happy with. Like court deciding on how much a woman should be entitled in the event she is divorced. If she is keeping the child, it is fairly simple, it should be 2/3rds of the man's income, if the man is guilty of having strayed. Otherwise, it should be 1/3rd. That would deter men from straying, other women trying to woo away the man, and the woman herself would try to hold the marriage together.
