Do you live your life the way you like?

I've some friends who choose to work in a high paying job simply because their family needs financial support. Rather than working on the kind of job that they love and enjoy. Other people as well do other things that they would rather not want to do, it's because of their family. Are willing to make sacrifices for the sake of those people who loves you? Or you don't mind other people, and what matters to you is your own happiness?

I currently work five days a week, in a fairly intense job. (But no so intense that I can't bunk off every now and then to post here!) It's important to have money - money can be exchanged for goods and services (!!) - but it's also important to spend time with the people you love, and to indulge your own hobbies and interests. I'm only young and realise that I can hardly retire at 30, but all the same, I'm going to prioritise 'work / life balance' as soon as I reasonably can. Fewer hours at the office (for less money, I shouldn't wonder!), but more time at home. Happiness is v. imp! (If anyone wants to pay me lots of money to stay at home - let me know, yeah? )

I did that.I chucked my 9 to 5 job and started my own venture - a hobby turned into business. That was heaven really!
