I just heard the nicest thing about dolphins and wanted to share it.............

I was watching a documentary on Ancient Roman Catacombs and the elaborate etching put on people of the days barrial tombs. They said they saw dolphins alot on these and I thought it interesting when they explained that back then mythology reads that they thought dolphins carried the soul along the sea to heaven or purgatory. I just thought that sounded so nice. I don't think I have every heard a bad thing said about the dolphin. What do you think of this?

That's cool. I have never heard anything bad about dolphins either. They are very interesting creatures and very intelligent.

I have always wanted to swim with them but I think it would be scary at the same time..lol..I'm somewhat of a chicken sometimes. Thanks for the best response.

Just what I said: Ancient Roman Catacombs. On the History Channel. Pretty fascinating. This was just a side tid bit of information about the inscriptions and paintings found on the walls of the catacombs where people were buried around the outskirts of the city. Just happened to be found when a man was digging.
