Problems as blessing or punishment?

In my own opinion when things is beyond my control and went wrong that gives me problems and troubles, I consider it as blessings. I've experienced all those things that people said about blessing in disguise. I don't believe in punishment, but rather it's a consequences of our actions. I do believe in God and do think that He is God of love and forgiveness. Do you think our problems is Gods punishment or blessings?

Hi careguarden,
When I am at the point of being in the midst of a problem and suffering because of the problem, I tend to see them as a punishment, but in a strangely joking way. I am quite a dark thinker, but I seem to have a very sunny disposition and so even if a situation gets on top of me I randomly still tend to remain happy (and if I don't then I get help to make sure I do again quickly). After the problem is over I tend to always see them as blessings in disguise, and these days after learning that fact I try and view all problems that way.
I mean I am the product of my dark experiences more than my happy ones (as bad as that can perhaps be at times), and since I quite like this person at the moment I have to also like the experiences that created her...if that makes sense. I wouldn't want to go through any of them again though lol!

Yeah, after we face the problem,(if we deal it on the right way)we will realized that it's a blessing in disguise. God place us in the position and situation where we can do our best. Though often times our character is measured by challenges and problems. If we know and believe in God and our ability to solve the problem with faith then everything that happened to us either good or bad make sense. Problems plays an important role in our existence. We know and experienced happiness after all the problems and pain that we faced. If we open our heart and mind to the problem and embraced it as a gift then everything that happened to us would be great and wonderful. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your weekends!

Hi careguardian.. I think problems are also blessings. Whenever we have problems we learn something from it. So whenever I have bigger problems the more I should think that God have trusted me for a bigger thing then I would consider myself growing maturely whenever I overcome the problems.

Yeah, you're right jndlponti, God gives us the kind of problem simply because He trusted us. He knows our capacity and ability. He never gives problem big enough for us to solved. Problems is a blessings in a way that we learned and it makes us stronger and better person. Even if we fail, we learn by itself how to fail. They said that every problem is an opportunity or it's a gift that's given to us by God. And how we deal and react with the problem is our gift to God. Like in every problem that we face, did we stop and pray? or did we forget to pray to God and just go on our way to find solutions of our problem by our self? Problems is the most important part of our life. It's the only way that we grow and mostly the only time that we remember to call and pray to God.
