Actually is not that unrealistic. You know that stars have a limited life, and the Sun of our planetary system is a star too. All stars have to extinguish or explode one day or another, so when that happens to ours of course the world will come to an end. But we don't need to be afraid, as that can happen 5000 years from now or even more.
