This is actually true and I find it to be very pathetic. Apparently, there has been a tip jar thief going around and stealing tip jars from various stores in the food court at my local mall. The culprit, it's a guy, would go up to the stores, take their entire tip jar, and make a mad dash out the doors. The sad thing is that he has his truck parked outside waiting for his quick escape. The security guards have had a hard time chasing this guy down. This incident has happened a few times already so every shop in the food court has been given a notice to beware of their tip jars. I just find it dumb that some guy would be risking himself for a few dollars in tip money. Talk about being desperate.
