Do you like slurping while eating?

hi friends, do you get irritated when you are having a meal with someone and that person makes a lot of noise while eating, like slurping. I find it very disgusting and I feel like just getting up and eating alone because of that irritating noise, can you eat patiently even in such situations?

grr, I hate when people do this. I have a cousin that slurps, burps and smacks while eating...VERY irritating!

Hi, hireshd. Yes, I can't stand this annoying noise. Especially when they are eating soup or drinking the milk out of the bowl. I also can't stand when they are slurping a drink from a straw! How annoying, seriously!

i know what you mean very well. my husband makes a lot of noise when he eats and sometimes it drives me mad. it's very annoying but i don't know how in the world to get him to stop. i remember one morning i was still sleeping and he came in eating Captain Crunch and those are noisy enough but man when he ate them. i drove mad and left the room and went to sleep in the living room. i just wanted to slap him so bad. other times it's not as bad but it still gets to me sometimes. i just try to focus on something else.
