One thing I learned from my past, that in times of difficulties, I knew that it will be a better tomorrow. And when it is not, then the day after that. So I just hoping for that day to come. And the best thing I can do for now is to pray for that day and work hard to achieved it. How about you, what gives you hope when you think your life in in a difficult situation?

I was in a difficult situation last week. I was down for the evening when I came back home and started to think about my studies. Then I remember the old saying : Problems are only opportunities with thorns on them. - Hugh Miller So instead of bringing myself down, I think of reasons why i can do it.

Positive thinking is better than its opposite. Problems too surely would pass if you deal with it positively.

I try to remember the words of Jesus in His Sermon on the Mount - (paraphrasing from Matthew 6:32 ..."your heavenly Father knows that you need them (physical needs). But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

The knowledge that God is with me and He will never leave me nor forsake me. Because I believe that, I can handle the hard times. He will never put on us more than we can handle.

The way i used to look at is there is always someone worse off than your self and just like you think tomorrow can only be better than today.I look at my children and that makes me feel better about what ever as if they are ok then i am happy no matter what the problem or situation is.

yeah, family is one thing most of us would come in mind when we think that the world is against us. they can be a source of strength, inspiration and protection. And most importantly is a source of hope.

My little nugget of wisdom is this, too, shall pass. The only absolute law about life is that it changes constantly. When I'm in pain, whatever the case may be, I know there will come a time when I won't be in pain. I'm patient.

Usually, when some difficulties come, I am really upset. My mother is also like this, and even for a small thing she will immediately start praying. This habit has also come to me, and even if I face a small difficulty, I always start praying. Do not ask me, whether that difficulty disappears after my prayer. No it does not, but I get some mental satisfaction from it. So to give a answer to your discussion Prayer gives me hope in times of difficulty.

My belief in the existence of God and His benevolence. The fact that He has a plan for my life, which if He has not chosen to end then there must be Light at the End of the Tunnel.
