how do you eat a pomegranate?  

Its funny, my husband answered another post on this very same subject about a day ago on another forum
And you know what, the last time he tried to eat one he made an awful mess, the juice spurted all over him. I have never tried to eat one so I cant help
My parrots love these things, and they eat the whole lot, seeds, flesh and skin and they dont make a mess.

My sister actually ate one the other day. I thought it was so funny watching her eatting it.

I have eaten many pomegranates before, it isn't really that hard. After you open it, and you see all those little red seeds, you just need to peel those red bits off or eat it like you eat a slice of an orange. You just lightly chew the red flesh part, and you spit out the seeds that are inside. If you intend to eat the seeds as well then you can chew harder. There is very little on each one, but there are a lot of them and so it's best if you chew a whole bunch at once

My wife just had some. You open it up & there's a white fleshy membrane. You then pull the pockets of seeds away from it. The seeds are covered with a juicy material you eat. Some people eat the seed, others spit it out.
