We see a lot of movies, and hear stories. We come across a lot of heroes nowadays.
But who is a hero in real life?
Well, according to me, a person who understands his responsibilities in life. Like a son, brother, parent whatever he plays in his life, he must follow all the rules for them. The other main thing is he is the citizen of his country.
Anybody else having anything to add?

ya i agree to you balaji , as we see in the INDIAN movies , they show hero as some extraordinary person , very hand some , good looking and so on.. but all that is not correct . any person who has respect to his family , teachers , elder people in society , and who himself feels to help other people is a real hero ...

I'd say Superman as he will always help save the planet, I'd also put my stake in Obama as he is doing a great job for the States. Batman and Robin are not far behind superman though, but right now the Spiderman movie is the best.. Whoops wrong thread.

Hi. For me, a hero is someone who does something beyond the call of duty. A hero is someone who walks the extra mile just to help others. A hero is someone who helps without expecting anything in return. Finally, a hero for me is someone who does not need to die to become a hero.
