Is it true that Yakuzas cut the finger of members who go against thier rules?

I don't know if it's true. I just heard it from friends that Japanese Yakuzas cut the finger of their members if that member violated a yakuza rule. I also have a friend who actually worked as entertainer in Japan and she said that there's truth to this. What about you? do you have first have experienced about this rumor? Share your experiences. I hope we will have a real yakuza member who can attest to this

That is what i learn from a relatives who also went from japan that once you see man with with one of his finger is missing it is symbol that the man is a member of the Yakuza syndicate organization. Though, they are being label as it is as part of the syndicate though others lose their earning when they are caught from their illegal activities.

I guess its true then. According to one of my friends who happens to be a japayuki it's really true. And yakuza is an established underground organization in Japan, she also mentioned about those who are the already considered as bosses, she used a different name which i can't recall. She said, bodies of yakuzas are tattooed. Well i guess she saw it firsthand.
